Automated Sinker Handling

With the new RS Robotic Station you can automate sinker-based dissolution methods for performing a series of 100% unattended test runs.

The new RS Robotic Station seamlessly integrates with your existing ATF Xtend™ dissolution system. It automatically removes sinkers from vessels upon test completion – allowing for unattended execution of multiple dissolution runs with and without sinkers.

Like all samples to be tested using the paddle method (USP 2), the sinkers containing the dosage form are safely stored in a multi-run magazine on top of the dissolution bath awaiting their drop into the vessels. After each test, the RS Robotic Station automatically retrieves the empty sinkers and the self-cleaning routine of the ATF Xtend™ starts – preparing the system for the next dissolution test.
