to have a positive impact – both on the environment and on society.
Scholarship Programme – supporting children in India
Launched in 2017, our SOTAX Scholarship Programme initiative has been designed to support the education of children across India, and has ever since seen incredible participation and success. This year, we were overwhelmed with over 1’000 entries, reflecting the high level of interest and enthusiasm. The programme evaluates not only academic achievements but also extracurricular activities, encouraging holistic development in students.

Catching the sun – green energy in Switzerland.
SOTAX is becoming more sustainable – thanks to the new photovoltaic system at our headquarters. This allows us to capture on average over 1‘800 hours of sunshine per year and convert it into green electricity thus providing a sustainable and clean solution for our growing energy needs while contributing to a more sustainable use of resources and the reduction of our ecological footprint.

Plastics out – biodegradables & recyclables in.
In an effort to avoid plastic, in 2024, we completely replaced plastic bags and wrappings for packaging by a recyclable paper solution or biodegradable material, which resulted in savings of more than 170 kg plastic film / year. Plastic pallets were also changed to conventional and recyclable wooden pallets – a total of 1'360 pcs plastic pallets was replaced by a recyclable solution.
