Fast, efficient, and precise – ST50 tablet tester

The ST50 sets new standards for measuring 5 physical parameters of almost any tablet size and shape.

The ST50 features patented SmartAlign^TM positioning technology that allows it to handle different sizes (mini/large tablets, capsules), and shapes (convex, oblong, round, oval, angular etc.). Even for special shapes, the ST50 can be fitted with a custom carousel designed for your dosage form.
State-of-the-art developments include optimized jaw movements, a special “sensitive mode” for breaking force as low as 2 N for mini-tablets, maximum breaking force of 800 N and capable of handling tablets up to 25 mm diameter. Optional video monitoring can automatically record the tablet position during width, length/diameter and hardness measurement. Video clips are generated for each sample, marked with a time stamp and ID# for fast investigation. The ST50 can be connected with q-doc® data collection software for 21 CFR Part 11 compliant electronic data management. User-friendly interface and a robust design have made the ST50 a favorite in R&D, QC and in-process control (IPC) laboratories all over the world.
