Friability Testing.

Friability describes the mass reduction of a solid dosage form such as compressed, uncoated tablets occurring when subjected to mechanical strain during handling such as tumbling, vibration, or rubbing in a blister packaging. According to USP <1216> and Ph. Eur. 2.9.7, a maximum mean weight loss of not more than one percent (1%) is considered acceptable for most products. Effervescent tablets and chewable tablets may have different specifications for friability. Measurement of tablet friability supplements other physical strength measurements such as abrasion tests and tablet hardnesss measuring (breaking force determination).

OmniaTap xs touch

OmniaTap xstouch is the intelligent compact system with intuitive touchscreen operation when both pure and ultrapure water is required in small quantities. The combination of state-of-the-art treatment techniques enables the extraction of pure and ultrapure water from just one system. It can be connected directly to a drinking water pipe. The flexible dispenser is used to extract category I ultrapure water. The removal takes place at the push of a button via the digital control of the dispenser. An integrated 7 litre tank with recirculation keeps the quality permanently at type II. Downstream terminals can be supplied via an optional pressure output on the pure water tank.

FT2 offers two distinct modes for conducting tests: revolution/rotation count mode and time mode.

OmniaTap xsbasic is the practical compact system with OneHand dispenser when both pure and ultrapure water is required in small quantities. The combination of state-of-the-art treatment techniques enables the extraction of pure and ultrapure water from just one system. It can be connected directly to a drinking water pipe. The flexible dispenser is used to extract category I ultrapure water. The removal takes place at the push of a button via the digital control of the dispenser. An integrated 7 litre tank with recirculation keeps the quality permanently at type II. Downstream terminals can be supplied via an optional pressure output on the pure water tank.

 

An expansion in the instrument base allows for a 10° tilt of the drum.

OmniaTap

OmniaTap is the all-rounder with integrated reverse osmosis incl. circulation tank for type II pure water and cost-effective ultrapure water generation type I. The combination of state-of-the-art treatment techniques enables the extraction of pure and ultrapure water from just one system. It can be connected directly to a drinking water pipe. The flexible dispenser is used to extract category I ultrapure water. The removal takes place at the push of a button via the digital control of the dispenser. The optional storage tank (10, 30 or 60 litres) with recirculation keeps the quality permanently at type II. Downstream terminals can be supplied via an optional pressure output on the pure water tank.

OmniaLab ED+

OmniaLabED+ is the large all-round supplier for the complete laboratory. The perfect system for both type II applications and at the same time the need for ultrapure water type I. The system meets international water standards such as ASTM, ISO 3696, CLRW (CLSI) and is economically maximized by combining it with continuously self-regenerating electro-deionization without sacrificing demanding analytical applications. In addition, the OmniaLabED+ system holds 100 liters of pure water type II in a storage tank with quality recirculation ready for withdrawal.
